St. Vincent Charity sponsors this inaugural event

As a part of St. Vincent Charity’s celebration of Recovery Month, we were excited to sponsor the 2013 Celebrating Recovery 5k Walk/Run. The Greater Cleveland Drug Court, Cleveland Department of Public Health and the Cleveland Municipal Court spearheaded this inaugural event. There was a great turnout for its first year and there were a number of elected officials present for the race that morning. The course began at Fort Huntington Park, located at West 3rd and Lakeside, and took participants on a 3.1 mile course through downtown Cleveland. [more]

Many of our Caregivers in Rosary Hall, as well as their friends and family, were present to help represent St. Vincent Charity. We were even awarded a trophy for being one of the top teams represented! Everyone had a great time and they were able to connect with and share stories with a lot of people in recovery. Congratulations to all who participated and thank you for representing St. Vincent Charity at such an important event!
