There wasn’t any one single moment that led Laura to make the choice for bariatric surgery. It was a combination of factors—the inability to fit in an airplane seat, to jog or or climb stairs without gasping—that made her take that first step forward. Having lost nearly 90 pounds, Laura's success story inspired two friends to lose weight and two others to pursue of weight loss surgery.
