Patient Satisfaction

Patient satisfaction is very important to us at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center. It is considered a core part of our Mission. We participate in the federal government survey known as Hospital CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems), which provides patients the opportunity to rate the following aspects of their health care experience:

  • Nurse Communication
  • Doctor Communication
  • Staff Responsiveness
  • Pain Management
  • Cleanliness
  • Quietness
  • Discharge Information
  • Willingness to Recommend
  • Overall Hospital Experience

Our survey results, and the results of other hospitals across the United States, are available to the public. You can compare patient satisfaction results for individual hospitals by visiting the Hospital Compare Website.

We are very proud to share some of our results below. As you can see St. Vincent Charity Medical Center patients rate us highly, in many cases higher than the national average.
