Follow-up Care
Once your treatment is done, your medical oncologist will see you at regular follow-up appointments. Your doctor (Oncologist) will determine how often these appointments occur. The follow-up appointments are usually every one to three months for at least five years. Some visits will include blood tests, and your Oncologist may also you if you need other tests such as CAT scans or x-rays.
You are urged to call your Oncologist or nurse if you have questions or concerns before the next appointment. If you don't feel well, do not hesitate to call your Oncologist or nurse.
