St. Vincent Charity Hospital now offers a wide range of advanced minimally invasive general surgery through the creation of an advanced laparoscopic surgery suite and a highly skilled, specially trained operating room team. This development enhances the hospital's existing complement of minimally invasive general surgical abilities.

Surgeons at St. Vincent Charity Hospital now perform the following minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures:

St. Vincent Charity Hospital is pleased to announce the most recent addition to our general surgical staff, Aviv Ben-Meir, MD, Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery. A Cleveland native, Dr. Ben-Meir has demonstrated interest involving the application of minimally invasive approaches to general surgery.

Dr. Ben-Meir received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine with honors and then completed his General Surgery residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He completed his advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery training at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia.
