Pastoral Care
In the spirit of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, the mission of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus to all of God's people. We are devoted to healing and addressing the unmet needs of individual, families and communities through a network of quality care delivered with compassion for all in need.
As a faith-based hospital, we place a special emphasis on the spiritual aspect of healing. We welcome and respect patients of all faith traditions as well as those with no faith tradition. Our trained chaplains offer emotional and spiritual support to patients, families and staff. We provide information and assistance in completing Living Wills and the Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care.
A chaplain is available 24/7.
