Patient Support Groups
The Center for Bariatric Surgery holds monthly support group meetings for pre- and post-surgical patients. Held at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center , these meetings address a range of topics to guide patients throughout their weight loss journey with everything from preparing for surgery, to social, physical and
emotional transitioning, to staying on the track to success.
Following surgery, patients also can take advantage of Angel Network, a program that matches recent surgical patients with individuals who have been through the surgery and can offer support.

Regional Support Groups
In addition to the Center for Bariatric Surgery support group meetings, patients throughout the region have formed support groups that regularly meet. Information about patient-sponsored support groups is posted on the online message board in Member Resources.
