Giesele Robinson Greene, M.D.

Dr. Giesele Robinson Greene is chief medical officer of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center as well as chief medical officer of the Sisters of Charity Health System. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Greene
continued medical leadership in partnership with the medical staff in advancing best practices in clinical care, quality and safety across the health system.
In addition, Dr. Greene is responsible for overseeing St. Vincent Charity Medical Center’s role in the community in urban medicine, medical education and services to meet the hospital’s mission and vision.
Dr. Greene received her
bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and her doctorate of medicine from Howard University. She is currently a member of the Ohio State Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and Academy of Medicine of Cleveland and Northern Ohio. In 2008, she received the Greater Cleveland 2008 Finalist Athena International award in recognition of her leadership in business and community service. Dr. Greene is a board member of the Benjamin Rose Institute, Health Legacy of Cleveland, and the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland.
John A. Bastulli, M.D.
President of Medical Staff
St. Vincent Charity Medical Center
As elected president of the medical staff, Dr. Bastulli represents more than 300 physicians who serve on the hospital's medical staff, acting as their liaison in working with hospital leadership and the community.
Since joining St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in 1998, Dr. Bastulli has served as Director, Division of Anesthesia, and Medical Director, Surgical Services. In addition, he is president of Cleveland Anesthesia Group and medical director of Independence Surgery Center. Prior to joining St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, Dr. Bastulli served at Mt. Sinai Medical Center of Cleveland and Deaconess Hospital of Cleveland.
Dr. Bastulli is board-certified in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. He received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio, and his bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed an internship and a Critical Care Medicine (surgical) Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and a residency in anesthesiology at University Hospitals.
Dr. Bastulli's additional certifications include: Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology; Certificate of Special Qualifications in Critical Care Medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology; and Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a member of many professional associations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists. In addition, Dr. Bastulli presently serves as Chairman of the Legislative Committee of the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland and Northern Ohio.
