Pre-Admission Certification

Some insurance plans may require you to have pre-admission certification and authorization before being admitted to the Hospital for an elective procedure. Your doctor’s office can help you with this before scheduling your Hospital stay. Our Hospital’s pre-certification nurse in the Admitting Office handles urgent and emergency authorizations.

Pre-Admission Testing (PAT)

If you are coming to the Hospital for surgery or for outpatient laboratory testing, our Hospital has a pre-admission testing center that provides complete testing, history and pre-operative physicals when necessary. The department’s hours are Monday-Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
