A Message from Dr. David Perse

What an exciting time for St. Vincent Charity Medical Center. In the past year, we’ve worked hard to improve our quality of care, to expand our Medical Staff, institutionalize philanthropy, improve our patient care areas and expand some of our outpatient facilities.

Great customer service is our focus as evidenced by the Service Excellence 90 pins we wear daily. What does this number indicate? It is a reminder of our patient satisfaction goal of 90%. We’re proud to say that we’ve hit that goal and we continue to work on providing clinically outstanding care with the best customer service.

St. Vincent Charity Medical Center has become a haven for those independent physicians aligned with our mission to care for all. We’ve added physicians to our Medical Staff in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Spine, Orthopedics and Cardiology. You’ll find a complete database of our physicians through our Physician Referral tool.

We continue to develop our philanthropy through the St. Vincent Charity Development Foundation. I also hope to see you on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Public Auditorium for our biennial Pizzazz gala.

In 2011, we opened a second renovated patient floor; complete with private rooms, the latest technology and incorporating hospital design that helps to improve healing. The renovated fifth floor features Medical Surgical and telemetry beds as well as our new inpatient Rehab Therapy Services.

Finally, we have expanded some of our outpatient services to the Rockside Road/Independence area. In early December 2011, we opened the Rockside Imaging Center. It features state-of-the-art equipment for MRI, CT scan, x-ray and echocardiology.

We’ve been busy here in the Heart of Cleveland. We are growing to serve your needs and welcome the opportunity to serve you now and in the future.
