Solon ER is transitioning to Urgent Care

11/30/2012

The Solon Medical Campus of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center will transition its main service—a 24/7, free-standing emergency department—to an urgent care model effective December 3, 2012.

The Emergency Department, located at 33001 Solon Road, will become an urgent care operating from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends. “We feel confident that the emergency services needs of Solon and the nearby communities are being met with the expansion of so many healthcare services in the area,” said David F. Perse, MD, President and CEO of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center. “This new model allows St. Vincent Charity Medical Center to continue its 30-year presence in the Solon area.”

In addition to operating its Urgent Care, the former emergency space will also be home to Occupational Health services. This new, combined model not only maximizes resources, but also demonstrates St. Vincent Charity’s commitment to the Solon area business community through its Occupational Health services.

The Solon Urgent Care can be reached by calling 440.349.2273.
