St. Vincent Charity Hospital Welcomes Rheumatology SpecialistThree Office Locations - Broadview Heights , Shaker Blvd. and Downtown Cleveland![]() Cleveland, OH – November 28, 2006 -- Kimberly K. Thomsen, M.D.,specializing in Rheumatology, has joined the medical staff at St. Vincent Charity Hospital. Dr. Thomsen will see patients at both the Hospital's Medical Office Building, located adjacent to the hospital in downtown Cleveland, and the Healthcare Center at Saint Luke’s Pointe on Shaker Blvd. She will also see patients at her Broadview Heights office, located at One Eagle Valley Court. To make an appointment or refer a patient, call 216.363.2556. Dr. Thomsen practices general adult rheumatology and specializes in osteoporosis bone health. She joins St. Vincent Charity Hospital after completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Greenwich Hospital, a Yale University affiliate, and a Rheumatology Fellowship at University Hospitals. Dr. Thomsen has an impressive resume of scholarships and honors. She received her undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Central Florida and her medical degree from the University of Miami, School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. She has been active in community service, volunteering for health initiatives such as Overtown Health Fair, Florida Keys Health Fair, Camillus House Homeless Shelter and the Marion House Nursing Home. While in medical school, Dr. Thomsen was a board member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. "Dr. Thomsen is an excellent physician specializing in the complicated field of rheumatology.
