PIZAZZZ 2008 SET TO DAZZLE AND ENTERTAIN CLEVELANDERS

Event to Benefit the St. Vincent Charity Hospital Medical Home

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11

Cleveland – January 20, 2008 – The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel will be the site for Pizazzz 2008, one of Cleveland’s largest and most spectacular gala events, on Saturday, October 11, 2008, to benefit Cleveland’s longest-serving hospital – St. Vincent Charity Hospital. Chairman of Pizazzz 2008 is Lee C. Howley.

The biennial event is always a sell-out, attracting nearly 1,200 guests. The evening will have glamour, musical entertainment and a special purpose – to raise funds for the hospital’s many Community Outreach programs. St. Vincent Charity Hospital, Cleveland’s only downtown hospital, provides many medically-based programs and services to Cleveland residents who cannot afford or access health care.

The theme for Pizazzz 2008 will not be revealed until the doors to the Grand Ballroom are opened on the night of the event. “It is tradition for Pizazzz’s theme to be a surprise,” said Benefit Coordinator Rachel Rego.

Attendees will include city officials, community leaders, and friends and supporters of St. Vincent Charity Hospital who appreciate its significant contributions and more than 142 years of service to Cleveland.

In 2006, Pizazzz raised more than $190,000 for hospital programs.
