St. Vincent Charity Hospital to Honor Military Men and Women

Memorial Day Celebration Planned by Mission and Values Committee – May 26

Cleveland (May 26, 2006) – St. Vincent Charity Hospital will honor U.S. Military Men and Women, especially those related to Caregivers, at Rally Round the Flag, an outdoor event to be held on the hospital green, May 26 at 2 p.m. The event is being organized by the hospital’s Mission and Values Committee, which plans activities that keep the hospital focused on its mission to serve all with respect and dignity. At the event, the names of Caregivers’ relatives who are serving overseas will be read aloud, and prayers and songs will be offered in their honor, along with a blessing. Rally Round the Flag will take place on the hospital’s front lawn, with Caregivers gathered around the American flag, in a ceremonial celebration of the great sacrifice our military men and women make on behalf of freedom.
