St. Vincent Charity Hospital Named “One of the Best Workplaces in Northeast Ohio” for the Third Year in a Row

Cleveland, OH (September 2007) - Whether you are preparing to swipe your timecard to begin the day, visiting a friend or family member, or becoming a patient yourself, one thing you will immediately recognize is the proverbial sense of compassion and concern within the walls of St. Vincent Charity Hospital.  You will find yourself communicating with those around you, not as strangers, but as family.

This atmosphere, and the doctors, nurses, and support staff who treat each patient, visitor and fellow employee with respect and dignity, has made St. Vincent Charity Hospital a recipient of the NorthCoast 99 “Best Workplaces in Northeast Ohio” award for the third year in a row.

“We are excited about being honored with this award, once again,” said Jeffrey S. Jeney, President and CEO, St. Vincent Charity Hospital. “This recognition is well deserved by each of our hardworking Caregivers throughout the Hospital. Their daily efforts to provide high quality care are appreciated by all.”

St. Vincent Charity Hospital will be acknowledged as one of the top workplaces at the 2007 NorthCoast 99 Awards Ceremony on September 19 at LaCentre Conference and Banquet Facility in Westlake, Ohio. Additionally, Inside Business Magazine will feature this year’s winners in a special NorthCoast 99 section in its September 2007 issue.
