Participants Needed for AIM HIGH Clinical Trial
Have you had a heart attack, stroke or vascular disease? Are you age 45 or older? If so, you may qualify for the National Institutes of Health’s AIM HIGH trial, a study to determine whether raising "good cholesterol" with a drug based on the vitamin niacin, while lowering "bad cholesterol" with a statin drug, can prevent more heart disease than the statin alone. All eligible participants will receive, at no cost:
