CLEVELAND, OHIO (February 1, 2010)—St. Vincent Charity Medical Center and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine have partnered to present “Northeast Ohio Diabetic Foot Symposium,” from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2010, at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine Lecture Hall.
Featured speakers for the evening are Michael B. Canales, D.P.M., Podiatric Specialist at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center; John S. Steinberg, D.P.M., FACFAS, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist at Georgetown University Hospitals; and Dane K. Wukich, M.D., Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Attendees may look forward to case presentations featuring surgical strategies used to address the diabetic foot and ankle. In addition, presenters will discuss recognition and management strategies of Stage 0 Charcot Arthropathy, Bisphosphonate’s role in the management of Charcot Arthropathy and the differentiation between Charcot Arthropathy and Osteomyelitis.
Attending the symposium may earn clinical professionals three continuing medical education hours.
